Dear Members, Friends, and Supports of the Greater MD Chapter of NBMBAA:

I am thrilled to share with you the incredible accomplishments and milestones we have achieved since 2020! It has been an exhilarating journey marked by dedication, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of excellence!

First, I am immensely proud to announce that our chapter is a 2X-Award Winning Chapter! In 2022, we brought home the Channel Awards for both Membership Growth and Membership Retention. In 2023, we repeated with membership retention and added the Lifestyle award. At the prestigious NBMBAA Annual Conference and Career Expo. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and commitment of not only our Board, but each and every member that has supported our programming.

In addition to our accolades, I am excited to highlight the significant strides we have made in fostering strong corporate partnerships. Our collaborations with industry giants like Baxter and Experian have not only enhanced our resources but have also opened up new avenues for professional growth and development for our members and our Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program.

Furthermore, our partnership with the esteemed Graves School of Business underscores our commitment to nurturing the next generation of business leaders. This collaboration has provided invaluable opportunities for mentorship, networking, and skill-building for aspiring professionals. Did I mention how “Big Graves” shows up and shows out at the conference? From Case Competition to securing the bag at the Career Expo, this next generation of leaders continues to make big moves.

One of the most fulfilling endeavors we have embarked on is the launch of our Leaders of Tomorrow Program. This initiative embodies our dedication to empowering young talent and equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in their careers and beyond. We are incredibly excited about our Leaders and being able to play some small role in not only readying them for college, but for the real world. Where it is competing during Case Competition, networking at the LOT Leadership Summit, or supporting their critical thinking and analytical skills in one of our meetings; with these young people, yesterday’s price is not today’s price! They are going to take the world by storm!

Lastly, our programming initiatives have been designed with one goal in mind: to serve the needs and interests of our members. From informative workshops to engaging networking events, we are continuously striving to provide value and support to our community.

As we reflect on our past achievements and look ahead to the future, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude for each and every one of you. It is your passion, dedication, and unwavering support that propels our chapter forward and enables us to make a meaningful impact in the world of business.
