The CyberBiz Pathways summit is a half-day, post-secondary workforce development program to prepare young adults for career success.

This is the first quarterly summit with a focus on internships and interview preparation. The target audience includes undergraduate and graduate students, who may be preparing to attend conferences, as well as young professionals who have already entered the workforce. 

August 27, 2021 marks the first CyberBiz Pathways Workforce Development Summit for Early Career Professionals and will focus on career exploration, internships and interview prep. This interactive summit is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who may be preparing to attend conferences, as well as young professionals who have already entered the workforce.

In advance of the National Black MBA Conference, we will have presenters from recruiting companies and the National Black MBA Association.

The event kicks off with a dialogue on “First Impressions,” featuring LePra George, Senior Director, Chapters, Member & University Relations, National Black MBA Association, and De’Rell Bonner, Senior Program Manager for Inclusion, Diversity and Equity, AWS. Erica M. Roberts, president of X Is Possible, LLC an co-founder of the Greater Maryland Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (co-host) will moderate.

Attendees will benefit from an amazing speaker lineup, including leaders from industry and government. Young professionals will have a choice of workshops addressing careers in different fields, as well as instructive and thought-provoking content related to career navigation and interview skills.

By popular demand, the summit also includes a Working 101 session with expert tips from seasoned HR professional, Desy Osunsade and financial advisor, Melissa Reaktenwalt, who will help with negotiation and navigation.

This event is being co-hosted by the CyberGreen Group; X Is Possible, LLC; and the Greater Maryland Chapter of the National Black MBA Association.
